It was really going to be a hard night if he kept saying stuff like that. The flash of an image came to her and turned her an even brighter red. She hoped the burning at her cheeks wasn't the furious flush she feared it to be.
"Alright, then. We can take your car, I don't mind." Besides, save on some cab fare. She gathered up her book bag, "Meet you then." She hurried out of the music room and paused just outside. "Not a big deal. Just some drinks and checking out the club." She took a breath and felt calmer.
Back at her dorm, she took her time. She laid out an outfit and then climbed into the shower. She let the water wash over her skin, allowing her head under the shower faucet. She half meditated as she smoothed her hair down and back. Normally she wouldn't be so bothered. She had to remind herself that a dream was just that. But maybe it was because she was so tired that she felt a little off.
She finished in good time and order, feeling a whole lot better better and much more refreshed. She got dressed fairly quickly, drying her hair and wondering just what sort of changes had been made at the Pit. But she would see soon enough.
She floated outside, glancing about. At least now she didn't have to sneak in like the first time. She was perfectly legal these days. But something about the evening made her nervous. It was the anticipation she knew. The wondering. Would the Pit live up to reputation of it's predecessor? She'd get to find out.
