Having found all necessary ingredients and utensils, Ita grabbed the fire extinguisher and put it near her work area. That probably was noticeably odd, even for someone who didn't usually cook. The elemental would gladly have rectified that problem for him though - taught him to cook, that is. But if he was too busy, that was fine, she'd have to make do with cooking for him.
Beginning the actual prep, she measured and began mixing. Answering his question, she paused only a moment. "Um, since freshman year of high school, so like 7 years? I mean, I helped my Aunt Lissa with like cookies and stuff since I was little, but I didn't love cooking until I took the home ec class. And then it was like, whoa, this is so cool. I mean, I never thought of food as art until then." Grinning, the blond met his eyes between mixing the batter and measuring. "What about you? What moves you? Besides languages, I mean." It wasn't that she didn't think languages could move someone, but she wanted to know more about him.
