Waiting built anticipation too, now didn't it? He'd have plenty of time to consider what that private dance of hers might entail and she'd, of course, make sure it was worth the wait. Cat had a definite exhibitionist streak, but it was hard to maintain any semblance of authority once your students had seen you going at it in a strip club. Being a teacher did come with certain expectations, after all, but that didn't stop their fun, just meant they had to be smarter about the locations they picked to have it in. They could sort that out later...his room, her room....they tended to enjoy themselves in either.
There was nothing easy about getting into a relationship with someone who was never quite satisfied with who you were. It didn't matter what they were trying to change about you, just that they were. Going into things, you had to be prepared to accept someone how they were - sure, you might get lucky and they might adjust some of those less than desirable traits that everybody had, but if was something that you couldn't live with, you shouldn't do there in the first place. It helped that Cat and Wes had been honest with one another from the start. She had expectations of him, sure, but it wasn't anything that was outside of his realm of possibility. As long as they made sure to keep things going down this path, they might be just fine.
"It's Cat's rule all the time," she teased him with a grin, her body molding to his as he pulled her closer. Nobody could blame you for checking out an attractive member of the opposite sex, but once you took it beyond that it definitely became an issue. Coming to a strip club with your significant other generally meant you didn't mind if they looked, either - it'd be torture to bring your boyfriend to a club and then get pissed every time he checked out a dancer. What was the point of that? Which was why she didn't have any issues with Wes' gaze moving to the dancer she pointed out. "Of course she can dance....there's nothing more disappointing than a pretty girl with no rhythm. Somehow I don't think she'd get your attention if she didn't have the moves to go with the face," Cat teased him with a smile.
"I don't mind at all," she assured him with a smile, leaning forward to take a sip of her drink before settling back against him. "If I really didn't want to come, I wouldn't have. Besides, I like knowing that they get you all riled up and I reap the benefits later..." She was a wicked little thing at times.
