Wes smiled that shadow of a smile, the one that didn't often show. The one reserved for moments, when a smart ass remark simply wouldn't do. "I can dig interactive." Better in private, that public, he thought. There would be no need to worry about any of the other men starring at her, or even approaching her about possible dances later on. Yeah, he didn't think he would much care for that. He could still recall the couple of times that Piper had slipped into exotic dancing, because money was tight. Usually thanks to his spending a few months paychecks on drugs. The idea of his girl writhing all over some slob infuriated him. Even more so when she was there doing it, because of his fuck ups. Giving someone you cared about such a dance was one thing, but to do it to a complete stranger... not a big surprise that so many of the women detached themseleves mentally while doing so.
Yeah, he liked all sorts of women, but it did seem he had a type. A bombshell. Piper had been one, and Cat sure as hell was one as well. They were just a different sort. There was a certain look that he enjoyed, of course, you didn't often come across it in this day, and age. Wes had a taste for the 70's pinup girl. Back when women still had curves, and the tits were home grown. You couldn't beat that body. Those were the bodies, that some of the greatest rock songs were written about. Yes, if he had a time machine, he would without a doubt, go back to that time. Of course, he'd want to drag his kids, along with him. He'd told River all about it, and the kid still didn't believe that it was the most bitchin' era that had ever been. Okay, so it didn't have playstation, but they fucking had arcade games.
His eyes moved to the ginger that she'd just brought to his attention. Wes wasn't about to lie, and say this wasn't a little weird. He was almost expecting to be told off any second for looking at the girl. Maybe part of her plan was to make him a little uncomfortable? Well, it was working. At the same time, he felt excited. What if she was finally the girl who wouldn't freak out over just the looking. Some... most women couldn't handle it. Then again, Cat had been surprising him from day one. "She's not bad." He said with a slight shrug. The girl was good looking, but he didn't want to come off as too enthusiastic. "She's just a girl, but she'll do. Besides, you promised I'd be getting a woman later on." Meaning her of course. It seemed most of the employees were young, some were even students.... ew. He had to be mindful of who he ogled when visiting.
