The only thing that had felt like it was missing from Kim’s life was freedom. Well, at least that’s the way it was for the first 18 years of her life. Weres weren’t really tied to any elements so it kinda made it wonder why they were put in the House of Fire. Then again, maybe they were tied to fire. It was something that Kim didn’t really know much about. That would be a good question to ask in class or something.
She would try her best not to hit him below the waist, but with the conditions outside, it was gonna prove to be hard to keep your balance while running full speed and trying to tackle someone. “I can pretty much shift whenever I want, not just during a full. Takes years of practice and control though. I can even keep from shifting during a full if I wanted to. It’s a little harder, but possible.” Harder and it hurt like hell so it wasn’t something she did often.
Continuing to run full speed right at him, her eyes stayed trained on his center of gravity. Watching to see which way he’d try to move. He was pretty quick and threw her off when he moved to her left. That side was definitely her weaker side, but nonetheless she was able to turn that way and even though he had caught her off guard, she managed to get a hold of one of his arms. Yanking his arm back toward her, she tried to pull him down, or at least around so she could get a good shot at pulling the ball from his grip.
