Starbuck shrugged a bit, "It's alright, I suppose I was daydreaming a bit. So, don't you go touting your stealth skills just yet. I'd hate for you to overestimate them and get yourself into trouble while trying to sneak into class late or something similar."
Holding his hand out for a moment, he watched the droplets shatter upon impact with his skin, then soak into it. "Can't live without it, and who'd want to?" Granted, he knew some of the fire elements had an aversion to water, just as he shied away from heat, but all living things needed water to keep on living... even the vampires, who thrived on blood. After all, blood was composed of more than eighty percent of the substance.
Her one rule didn't bother him in the slightest. "I promise to treat you like any other opponent. In fact, I might have to ask you to go easy on me," he said with a wink. He knew just how strong the weres could be, especially this close to the full moon. Starbuck wasn't one of those arrogant men who assumed he was better at something like football simply because he was a guy. And he knew a person's size at this school could be deceptive, hiding their true strength. "Right... no kicks to the nuts or punches to the tits. I think we'd both appreciate that."
With the rules established, he tossed her the ball. "Ladies first. Gimmie a good spiral and I'll dish out the best I've got in a return run." He backpedaled to put some space between them, waiting and watching for her to throw the ball. Starbuck wasn't great on his feet, and the slippery surface was sure to work against him, but winning wasn't his focus. He was just out here to have a good time with a new friend.
