What Xander didn’t know was that Alice was that drunk. Well, not drunk enough to attack him, but no amount of drunkenness would make Alice attack anyone. At least not yet. Maybe after she gained enough courage to finally lose her virginity would she be able to attack someone. Right now she still needed to get that ‘first kiss’ under her belt. Baby steps Xander. Baby steps.
When she heard that he didn’t have anything to swim in, she shook her head in disappointment. Wasn’t he a surfer? Didn’t surfers have an extra pair of board shorts in their car or something? Alice then shrugged and leaned back so that she was floating on her back and staring up at the night sky. She would stay in the water for a few moments while letting that last drink slowly take effect on her. In a way, she wanted him to chase after her, but she was enjoying herself as she floated there.
Deciding that she had spent enough time in the water, and the fact that she was starting to feel cold now, Alice swam back to shore. She ran back towards Xander a little sloppily and stood in front of him for moment with a silly grin on her face. She then shook all the water that still clung to her off and onto him, giggling as she did so. Served him right for not joining her.
