Alice jerked away again from the poke and snickered into the cup. “Oh no no no no no. The only way I’m helping out is if I get to ride piggy back while you run. Then you can have me cheer you on while I help out with your strength by weighing you down.” She really could be a very lazy girl. “And I can’t help it if I’m skinny!” She protested then scrunched her face up and stuck her tongue out at him. It didn’t matter how much food she ate, or how unhealthy it was, she was never able to get passed that ninety-five pound limit. She actually wouldn’t mind filling out a bit too. Damn that high metabolism!
“Sake tastes better.” At least she thought so and she didn’t mind the small custom when it came to drinking it either. When the arm was wrapped around her and she felt herself being pulled in, Alice nuzzled herself even closer. Even though her body was clearly at a warmer temperature, she was enjoying the extra warmth that generated from the demon. “Ohhh…I’m…not….drunk….hiccup!” Okay, maybe she was drunk, but she wasn’t going to admit it. While two glasses of scotch would barely get a seasoned drinker buzzed, Alice was a lightweight. She was already buzzing fairly well from the first cup. Add a second and then a third of sake and she’d hit that point of no return in no time. If, she hadn’t hit it already.
Alice took another sip from the sake and stared out past the water. The sun was slowly starting to set now and she smiled wide as she leaned her head against Xander’s chest with a soft ‘hmmm.’ As bad of an idea as it was to get drunk with an incubus, she was rather enjoying herself.
