"I wouldn't be a good friend if I didn't pet your hair while you cried on me. And if you really have tears you need to shed," she paused and straightened her legs out before her. "My lap is open for you to rest your head on while you cry." Feeling herself loosen up a bit, Alice laughed at her comment. Her cheeks, neck and shoulders were starting to grow pink, but not from blushing. No, no. It was that damned Asian blood that flowed through her that was causing her to glow. That and the alcohol.
When she finished her sandwich, Alice quickly gulped down the rest of the scotch like she had done earlier and placed the now empty glass down next to her. She leaned back on her shoulders so that she was almost laying down and grabbed the bottle of sake from the cooler and two muffins from the basket. When she sat back up, she placed the bottle between her legs and offered the second muffin to Xander.
"Yeah.. I'm not a really big fan of emo music," she said between her bites. Alice looked like a rosy cheeked child on her birthday while she happily munched on the muffin and 'hmm, hmm, hmm'd' a soft cheery melody. Maybe it was the alcohol, but she was actually impressed with how good they actually turned out.
