Well, if he had a natural sense of direction, and she a knowledge of the island, they would certainly be fine in the end. She didn't really have a sense of direction, but thankfully, she paid attention well enough, that she would notice familiar sights. When she was younger, it seemed there was always some event to attend, held by her fathers company. The Roth children had been expected to dress up, when the occasion called for it. As they grew, Vivian grew to enjoy it, while brother Fynn had also insisted adding his own flare to whatever monkey suit he had to wear. Those days were long gone now, not that she would mind having to do so again. But, men, and women tended to differ on those accounts.
Oh, give her a reason to bring up home, and she would. The place had been amazing, and she didn't mind at all talking about it. Normally, that was. Recently turn of events had caused her to be slightly more closed off. Perhaps she didn't want to draw any unwanted attention to herself. So, only casual conversation had thus far been held with the most recent adds to Halcyons student body. Vivian rather enjoyed accents. Having traveled through out Europe, and Northern Africa, she had come across quite a few. It became a game, trying to place them. While she had recently met someone from Hell, it had not been an in person encounter. The bloke had been raised in California, so she suspected he merely talked like Charlie, rather than anything special. It would be interesting to meet someone who had spent most of their life there. To truly see the differences. That wasn't likely to happen any time soon though.
"Right." Made sense, he did have wings to stretch out. Vivian followed, tucking her hands into the pockets of her jeans. Being the woman that she was, and slightly immature, she couldn't have stopped that raising brow, or smirk if she had wanted to. Well, he was taking his shirt off, why not look? Good looking aside, the appearance of his wings left her some what stunned. With her lips hanging open, she stepped forward, those dark eyes inspecting the wings intently. She should have had better sense to know this starring could be considered rude, but she had never seen such a thing. "They are beautiful. The biggest pair I have yet to see." She said finally, her eyes once more returning to his face, the smallest smile resting on her lips.
Vivian didn't hesitate to follow his orders, resting her arms securely around his neck, while her legs didn't resist, when he lifted her from the ground. As they pushed off from the ground, her hold did tighten, eyes sweeping down the the quickly retreating earth beneath them. "Regardless, the view is going to be exceptional." In truth, seeing the ground covered in the fog was like nothing she had ever seen before. As they moved higher, she continued to glance about, her eyes moving to him once more, casting another grateful smile. "This is amazing. If I could fly, I would probably be up here, all the time." It was a perfect escape. The true isolation, that few other things offered. "If you offer to take more girls up here, like this, you'll have quite the fan club." At least Vivian could say she was the first.
