Not long after the displaced started to arrive, an old warehouse was converted into a community center. It's open to the general public to visit, too, but was really designed as a place for the Displaced to gather for mixers, meetings and events. The building also houses the WAD offices and right next to it is a small medical center, staffed by a mixture of natives and displaced who have medical training.
Also included are some basic fitness equipment, a small "theater" room, a computer lab and study room, a few conference rooms and a larger area that can be used as a meeting hall, ballroom or large dining room, depending on the needs of an event. Of course, that means there is also a full kitchen on the premises.
