That spoke to me on many levels. I found so much personal stuff that the whole fic really touched me. Then there was the fan girl angle too, that made me love it even more.
It was a different take on Quatre, and I loved how it was, in the end, more than just a moment in time. I got to see him actually do something about all of his problems...and I've always liked Quatre with Duo. :) You know, I hope they end up together, for real. No more divorces. No more hiding. No more empty roles.
I loved the way you wrote Duo, btw. I could see that, the slightly rugged, soft eyed, incredibly cool cowboy-type. I could see that sigh, too.
