The moment he saw Victor, Yuuri sighed happily. He wasn’t one to usually let go of his formalness, but this time, he was too tired to care. He leaned into Victor’s embrace, almost letting out a whine when the other moved away. Once he was inside, though, Yuuri let out a yawn and rubbed his eyes with one hand.
“Sorry,” he mumbled, tiredly. “I didn’t mean to. I can usually go on very little sleep, but I guess it’s catching up with me now. Every time I close my eyes, I hear the thunder again and I can’t sleep. Lightning, too. I jump every time I see it.”
He smiled, haphazardly, as he met Victor's blue grey eyes. “Thank you for having me over. Honestly. I think it will help, just being close to someone. I mean!” Yuuri clapped his free hand over his mouth, eyes wide as he realized that he had just blurted that aloud. Apparently tired Yuuri meant his filter was gone.
