WHO. jack sloper; lisa turpin. WHERE. leaky cauldron. WHEN. 8 pm; Sunday, Feb. 24th, 2001. SUMMARY. jack tells lisa to come visit him at work. RATING. tba. STATUS. in progress.
Jack had only been at work an hour, but he'd already had to clean up broken glass and spilt drinks all over the bar. Frowning, walked up and down the bar with a rag, and stopped only when someone ordered a drink. There hadn't been many girls tonight, but then again, it was early and a sunday. He was sure his evening would be full of drunk wizards and some old slags if he were lucky. He liked it when decrepit old witches came in, usually if he flirted enough he got a huge tip (and their addresses, which was odd to him; he'd never randomly hook up with an old woman. There were too many dangers; husbands, irate dogs, old apartments in merlin knows where...). Turning his back to the bar, he finished a tumbled full of firewhiskey and continued to clean up glass off the ground.
Jack wiped his brow with his wrist and then turned on his ankles as an old wizard ordered bottled mead. Crouching down beneath the counter, he fished around in a bin full of ice, to find a bottle of mead. Uncorking it, he slid it down towards the man and turned to write the order down on the man's tab. He wished the Leaky Cauldron would update it's order system, at the other bar he worked at, they had house elves keeping track of all the drink orders, all the bartenders had to do was serve, clean, and talk to customers. It was probably the easiest job of his life, and Jack wondered to his day why he quit. Thinking about it as he wiped down the bar, it was probably because of the sexual tension between him and his boss. Yeah, that was it, he'd gotten rather creeped out by his old boss' constant flirting...she was three years older than him and married, and Jack refused to be the person who helped a woman cheat. That was just horrid.
When someone sat down at the bar, he turned to ask them what they wanted to drink, when he noticed who it was. Smirking, he leaned over the bar and questioned, "What do you want to drink?"
