Jack could feel her shaking and he became instantly confused. Jack was never the type who would force anything on any one, he abided fully by the laws of consent and if he was making her so nervous that she was shaking, he decided he should back off. He took a step away from her and looked her up and down. "Come on, let's just go get a drink," he chewed on the inside of his cheek, trying to be as friendly as he could. Sure he was slightly disappointed, Jack read people really well being a bartender and all, and he understood confusion, he understood levels of comfort. And for one reason or another, he didn't know if Susan felt comfortable around him right now. This started off as a joke, but he would never take it to the point that would make him seem vile.
He slid his hand down her arm and nodded in direction towards the bar. Jack took another step away from her, but didn't tug on her arm, leaving it open to her as to what he wanted to do. "You don't have to keep dancing if you don't want to. We could go find Meg if you want," Jack shrugged his shoulders and gave her a small smile.
