Jack wasn't even listening to the girl anymore. She was talking about her post-Hogwarts life and his beer was almost gone. Finally, Megan dragged Susan over to the dance floor and he now had a reason to get away from this bird. Raising his hand up, he smiled at her and paid for her drink before explaining that he had to go. She looked flustered, angry and disappointed all at once, but Jack didn't mind. He had his own agenda tonight, and it was the one that Megan had put him up to. Looking at his watch, he still had about two hours before he had to be at work (he'd gotten someone to stay a bit longer, but they'd definitely be pissed if he showed up later than expected), and he made his way towards the dance floor.
Creeping up from behind Susan, he looked at Megan before sliding his hand lightly across Susan's waist and inching his way behind her. Jack wasn't the most keen on dancing, he usually preferred sitting back and watching birds do it, but he'd told Megan he was up for it and couldn't back out now. On top of that, he found the situation to be horrible funny, he tried not to laugh whenever he locked eyes with Megan.
