Ron felt nothing less than immense relief when the war was over and done and nothing had happened to either of them. Of course he was extremely sad and upset over the losses of family members and people so close to them but deep down he was silently thanking whoever was out there looking out for them that had ensured Hermione had come out safe and sound. Had anything happened to her, he wasn't sure what he would have done. He'd have completely broken down and just the thought of it terrified him.
Ron took in a deep breath the moment they parted, desperately needing it and as he hovered above her, panting lightly and looking down at her, his brow furrowed in confusion at what exactly she was saying. She was babbling slightly, not making much sense which was not a regular occurrence for her and so he was unsure exactly what to make of it.
"You're going to have to be a bit more specific, 'Mione." He said breathlessly. "My mind's a bit cloudy at the moment." He told her with a smile.
