"Score!" Teddy called and waved to Scorpius from a few meters away. "I found the sign!" The seven-year-old was running Harry ragged as he bounced around the exhibits. Once he'd discovered Scorpius' love of reading the exhibit signs, Teddy used finding them as an excuse to run about every time they changed location.
Scorpius turned to take off but brought himself to a halt automatically. He looked up at his parents and squared his shoulders. Her little man knew better than to run off. "May I wead da sign? Please, Mummy?"
"Thank you for remembering to ask first. That is very responsible," Hermione said, letting him know that she was proud of him. "You may go as far as the sign. Stay where we can see you and you can see us, please."
"Daddy? May I go doo?" Nova asked. Hermione suspected that Nova was feeling a little left out. Teddy wasn't mean to her but he was at an age where he thought he needed to ignore girls.
