Lucius finished his conversation with a colleague and strolled down the hall to the doorway where his wife was. He raised a brow at seeing Hermione with her, then raised the other at realizing both women were standing in the hall because they could not enter the room. He stepped up beside Narcissa.
The twins screeched in greeting, releasing Narcissa long enough to latch on to his robes. "Hello darlings," he said. He patted Nova's curls with affection and rubbed Scorpius' shoulder, careful not to muss his grandson's hair. Scorpius was as particular about that as Draco was. And himself, he admitted silently. Glancing at the large man blocking the doorway, he inclined his head a bare inch. "Mister McLaggen? Is there a specific reason you are preventing my family from gathering? I had not realized you had moved from Games and Sports to mere hired security."
