"You're a rock, Malfoy," Hermione told him, placing her hand over heart and pretending to swoon in response.
She nodded. "Alicia mentioned something one of the volunteers wanted us to consider before everything went pear shaped. The request was to offer delivery to those who were housebound or had mobility issues." Hermione pushed her hair back off her face now that it had stopped crackling and was safe to touch without being shocked silly. "Since we're not going further until we've vetted recipients anyway, deliveries might be the way to go."
Hermione smiled at him. "I don't want to give up completely. We have so much, and it's no less a shame for it to go to waste now than it was a month ago. The only shame is that there are greedy idiots who want to ruin things for others." Those people should be ashamed of themselves.
