Hermione looked up and over her shoulder to glare at Harry. Her look told him plainly that if it wouldn't have just gone against what they were teaching their children, he'd be receiving a flock of canaries for Christmas.
"We may, but we'll have to do it tomorrow. Your hour at the party is almost over. Right now, it's time to say goodnight to our guests." Hermione kissed the top of each little head before standing up. "Do you want to go with Daddy to walk around and say goodnight? Or would you like to come with me to collect Lyra, Auntie Luna and Dimitri and go straight to bed?" She was fairly certain Nova would choose the not-straight-to-bed option, but she never knew with Scorpius. Sometimes he'd try to negotiate for an extra story in return for a quick wash and hop into bed. Hermione hoped he'd go with Draco. Dimitri would be sleeping in Lyra's room until Luna and Rurik were ready to leave. Hermione thought that Lyra might need a little extra attention to settle down enough to sleep.
