Oddly enough, Cordelia had been expecting this. She had not even known just why she had been expecting it, especially since when she asked the question in her journal to see if he was out there, only 'Anteros' had responded.
She just smiled at she took the journal and looked down at the cover. Αντέρως. She felt as though the wind had been knocked out of her, but in a way that she was not sure if it was by pleasant surprise or by shock. She handed the journal back to him, her eyes wide and her face pale, though she was smiling.
"Athena. I, we..I was just talking to you the other day! I asked about you, you played...I'm Athena, I told you, and I figured out your name, and there was the ocean and there was a war and we were going to be alright..."
She was rambling, surprised by the words she was saying. It was as if she was remembering things from that life, but those stories were not in the myths anywhere. It made no sense, yet it seemed more true than anything she had read about the goddess that she apparently was.
