He smiled at her when her back was turned as she led him to the stairs. Her face was even more beautiful with the shades of red added to it. He wished he could know what she was thinking, if only to check against his own assumptions. She was obviously embarrassed and he assumed it was still about the kissing comment.
He wondered if he could just take advantage of the time he had now. The thought of how she might look at the mention of something much more than a kiss made him grin madly. She didn’t seem stupid at all, so those kinds of comments might send him out of her door in an instant. These thoughts had him looking at her backside; her whole body was flawlessly sculpted. He imagined running his hand down the perfect curve of her back down to her nicely defined buttocks. Then her hips. What a lovely place to rest his hands- His thoughts were stopped when she mentioned showing him a journal.
He swallowed back a lump in his throat. “Yeah sounds great.” He nodded furiously and smiled wide at her.
His smile faded when she seemed to be looking at him. Her expression made him worried. Maybe she had heard his thoughts! He had never made a woman cry, and he didn’t want to start with this one. He shook off those thoughts, it couldn’t be that –obviously-, but still why did she look so sad.
He tilted his head a bit when she said she was scared, offering her a small smile. He lifted one of his hands, moving a small piece of hair from her eyes, tucking it behind her ear. He let his hand rest on her cheek, and how soft the skin was there. “There’s nothing to be afraid of.” Of course he had no idea what she was afraid of, and doubted it had anything to do with this meeting, but it felt like the right thing to say to her.
He brushed the back of his hand against her cheek, lowering his hand to her neck. And here too the skin was so soft, that his thoughts started becoming lust full once more. If he would do anything, it should be now. He wouldn’t take advantage of her, just of the situation, if only to comfort her. Without thinking too much longer, he slid his hand down and under her chin lifting it slowly. Before he could give her room to protest, which he thought she might, he planted his lips on hers, softly, he did not want to scare her more, rather he wanted to invite her to join him.
