Summary: Angelina seeks alternative medical advice for her injured shoulder
Status: Incomplete
This seemed like a bad idea. Sure, Jacob Marsden, a former teammate from the Wasps had recommended this guy for alternative healing for her arm, but it seemed like backstepping to go from the most technologically advanced hospital in the country to a place that was basically in someone's house. Still, she was desperate. She was cleared to play for this week, and her shoulder felt all right. Well, it felt as good as it ever did. She had almost numbed herself to the constant ache, and forced herself to play through the stabbing pain that often accompanied playing in matches that ran too long and forced her to make too many passes. But Quidditch was her life, and she couldn't give up on it because it hurt. She had been raised to fight through pain, that there was no crying in Quidditch, and that if she wanted to get ahead and succeed, she had to be willing to sacrifice. Her comfort seemed like a small sacrifice to make, but the magical healers telling her that she could potentially damage her arm so badly as to lose use of it entirely was a little bit frightening.
She checked in with the house elf and took a seat in the waiting area, reading through a Quidditch Weekly magazine. Statistics were fun. Puddlemere was having a good season, and she sure as hell wanted to be a part of it. If this healer told her she should be benched, too, she didn't know how she would react. Probably not pleasantly.
