Owl: Honey, I'm Here!
Date: May 13, 2000 - Early Morning
Characters: Tracey Davis and Theodore Nott
Location: Respective Offices in England's Ministry of Magic
Public/Private: Private
Summary: Tracey checks up on her beloved and makes sure he checks up on her through some lovely paper airplanes.
Status: Incomplete
Tracey sat in her desk, the papers she was supposedly going through thinning in its previously thick stack. She had been way too enthusiastic during her first week, that she had easily swept through the work given to her - of course, she had some help from clerks at the French Ministry but that was besides the point. She was slowly getting lethargic over what she was doing that her thoughts had gone elsewhere.
Summer heat was starting to take over. Not that she felt warm or anything, but the summer had meant three different things: her birthday, Theo's birthday, and their so called 'anniversary'. She really shouldn't worry about it, considering it's still a month away, but now that she had an actual job, it wouldn't be as smooth planning it all out. After all, they were seen as wizarding world's golden couple (at least, that's what her mother had said). She needed to keep the image and that took time.
Pulling out a blank parchment, Tracey began to scribble.
Dearest Theo,
My love, I enjoy the convenience of being able to work so close to you that I merely need to send airplane notes to find out how you have been. I'm sure you'd think it's quite lovely as well.
Nonetheless, I know we've been working very hard. But I just want you to know that I've been looking forward to the weekend, and of course the weeks to come. Can you imagine how time has passed? It's almost the summer! I will be working a lot though, so I can't even imagine if I would have any time to even think about our plans for the coming months. Although, I should assume that's been in your thoughts as well?
Do write back promptly, my dear.
All my love,
Tracey
As she put down the pen, Tracey smirked. It was well written as with every letter she sent him that just in case it got intercepted, it was still following the image they showed the public. And as she waved her wand to send the note to Theo's office, Tracey sighed. She felt slightly worried at the thought of summer. Her mother's been insisting and hinting so many things and with a new job, she needed to make sure the other party, a.k.a. Theo, would pick up on it soon.
