RP: An ounce of blood is worth more than a pound of friendship. Date: August 8th, 2000, evening (dinner-time) Characters: Bellatrix, Tatiana, and Draco Location: Black Manor Public/Private: Private Summary: A family dinner, Black/Malfoy style. Status: Incomplete
Bellatrix loved family dinners. She insisted upon a few a month with just her and her daughter, but tonight her nephew Draco was coming over. She had thought it was such a shame that she hadn't gotten the chance to speak to him at the gala she knew, though she knew he'd been there. If he hadn't, she would have sent him a Howler which probably would have went along with one he received form his mother. She dressed in a casual, yet semi-formal dress for the dinner, a gold dress that was classic and looked well on her.
She'd told the house elves to look something new, something she knew Draco would like and approve of. She and Tatiana sometimes just ate comfort food over their dinner conversation, but they weren't going to be alone tonight, so she had to take that in consideration. As she waited for both Draco to arrive and Tatiana to return home from work at the Prophet, she looked at the dining room table. It needed something. Tapping the wooden surface with her wand, she placed the silver tablecloth with gold accents on the edges and weaved throughout the silver fabric flawlessly to create a nice subtle pattern. Then she took out the silver and gold centerpiece she had stored in a nearby china cabinet that had a glass door to see through and was filled with some Black heirlooms of China she'd received from her parents years ago. Once that was in the center of the table, she nodded. It was looked just about perfect. Draco would certainly know, if he for any reason needed the reminder, that he was in the esteemed home of the Black manor and in the dining room which few at the privilege to see.
