RP: It's not easy to get a salad at the Leaky. Date: July 28, 2000 Characters: Mandy and OPEN Location: The Leaky Cauldron Public/Private: Public Summary: Mandy is having a very late dinner after a long shift. Status: Incomplete
Mandy sat at a table in the middle of the Leaky Cauldron. It wasn't crowded, being a Wednesday night, but people were slowly tinkling in for their late night drinks as the crowd began to get slightly louder by the minute. But she stayed in her seat, not being run off by the noise that was slowly beginning to increase. She'd left the dragon sanctuary an hour later and went home for a shower. Once she'd showered the dragon smell and soot off her from a day of training - today a Chinese Fireball had tried to burn her alive if you asked her - she'd took a look in her kitchen for a quick meal and just gave up within two seconds of looking. Not only did she desperately need to grocery shop for herself, but she just felt too tired to actually cook something for herself. Tomorrow was thankfully her day off and she wasn't planning on setting foot near the dragon sanctuary. After sleeping in, she'd have to force herself to go grocery shopping but at least she could get over almost being killed. Bryson, her trainer, had actually laughed at the little mishap, saying how it wasn't her fault but it was hilarious how she'd look frightened at fire being spewed at her and catching the edge of her clothes to create a strong burning smell on her all day. Thinking of Bryson made her angry, and she clenched her fist over her fork that she was using to eat her spinach and apple salad. It wasn't exactly something that was normally on the menu at the Leaky Cauldron, but it was easy to maintain, especially when she was almost a regular. She just was a vegetarian and had to be careful with how she ordered. She would be disgusted if any meat came near her plate and refused to eat it, even if she'd still have to pay for it.
Setting her fork on her plate, she took a long drink of her lemonade before setting the glass back down. Beside her plate was a paper that she'd been scribbling down a grocery list to assist with her shopping trip the next day.
