RP: Fortune teller that says maybe you will go to hell... Date: July 14, 2000 Characters: Bellatrix & Octavius Location: Bones in the Water Public/Private: Private Summary: After her reading over a month ago, Bellatrix finds herself being intrigued by the man, Octavius, who did the reading and ventured to his shop. Status: Incomplete
Bellatrix normally didn't put any stake into the 'art' of Divination. It seemed so random to her, something that one couldn't put their trust in to relay. She knew many witches and wizards - even great ones - put their complete and utter trust in Divination of some form or another, but she wasn't one of them. She found the practice to be guess work at best. But still, she found herself opening the door of the Divination shop in Diagon Alley called Bones in the Water.
Unsure what she was looking for, or if she was looking for anything at all, she heard the chime above her head as she door swung shut behind her and she walked farther into the neat little shop. It was filled with oddities, including talking heads by the door, who whistled at her as she walked by. Even though she knew they were nothing more than some novelty toy or for show, she shot the heads a glare at the crude behavior. She was a Black; Blacks were not to be whistled at by some window display or by anyone for that matter.
Walking directly by all the shelves filled with merchandise, and trying to ignore the overpowering scent in the air she couldn't name immediately, she strode right up to the counter. "Excuse me?" she called to the back. She would be lying to herself if she told herself she wasn't hoping for the man who had given her that dreadful reading to come out.
