Octavius enjoyed the village of Hogsmeade. It was quite cute as far as villages went. Shame with the recent business with those two girls that had been killed close by. Personally, he had always considered Hogsmeade to be quite safe. Safer then London to be sure. Of course he supposed the world had changed some since his childhood and time at Hogwarts. He had come to Hogsmeade today because his daughter Diane-who had recently come home for the summer-had wanted to see the city. As a first year, she wasn’t given that privilege during school but she had heard the older students talked and not one to be held back by her age, had convinced her father that they should take a trip. He didn’t mind so much.
Diane had found one of her school mates when they had arrived and while Octavius wouldn’t be leaving his 11-year-old daughter to wander around on her own, the school friend was with her mother and Diane had been eager to get rid of her father for a couple hours as it was oh so un-cool to have him following around behind her. He had told her that he would be in the three broomsticks while she had her fun with her friend. And now a few hours and cups of tea later, he was still waiting. He was beginning to think that he should pack up the Tarot and go look for her.
