Astoria smiled at Alette's words. It was nice to have a friend who was comforting instead of harsh and blunt. She wasn't the biggest fan of 'tough love'. "I hope so too," she murmured. Not that she would ever find out. But she could hope that Cormac regretted it, that he realized just how badly he'd fucked up.
"We have our moments but so do they. Trust me." Everyone had their moments but it felt like women always got more flack for it. "Ah, yes. Male bonding. It's a little absurd what they get away with, isn't?" she asked wryly. "You know. I think I feel a little better. Thank you, Alette." Maybe she'd just needed to talk about it with someone completely removed from the situation. Daphne didn't count.
