Astoria shrugged. She couldn't really pretend to be too enthusiastic about it. "It was okay. I went as a child and I liked it better then." Although if things had turned out differently, she was sure she would have loved it. It had been ruined. "I think the food might have been the best part. And the shopping." She had done a lot of shopping. She knew she sounded spoiled and ungrateful but she didn't particularly care at that moment.
She watched as Alette reached for a sweet. Astoria didn't have very much of an appetite herself. Not right then. "You should. It's a beautiful city. Friendly people." And Alette would have no reason not to enjoy it. "Maybe before things start picking up with your project," she suggested.
