"You can be hands on without running it yourself." A good business owner was always involved. At least that's what her father always told her. She wasn't sure she could picture Alette running around the Three Broomsticks after students and patrons anyway. She could could understand wanting to do something, however, and if Alette was really passionate about it and committed to it then Astoria would support her.
"I'm glad to hear that you don't think we're all terrible," Astoria said, amused. She knew people weren't always friendly. She wasn't either sometimes. But she thought Great Britain was a decent place to call home. She smiled at Alette's offer. "I would love to help." She really did need something to do. "Theme and design aren't so hard. When the time comes, of course. I'm sure you have a lot more than that to figure out." It was impressive, actually, that Alette was brave enough to follow through with her plan. "You're very brave to attempt this." It wasn't an insult. It was a compliment, honestly. The Three Broomsticks had sat there for months, empty and abandoned, and no one had attempted to do anything about it. Instead they'd let it sit there as some morbid reminder. It was sad.
