Oliver was worried about his silence. He looked back again, trying to see Sam's face. If he hadn't answered when he did, he would have just landed immediately. But he heard Sam's voice and let out an audible sigh of relief. "We're not going to die, Sam," he said with a smirk. He wanted to make sure Sam was comfortable and felt safe. He knew he'd never feel completely comfortable, but at least he wasn't freaking out. Lowering the broom, he began to descend back to the ground to land.
