Evan watched as John deliberated. He knew what choice the other man would come to, but it was amusing to see John fight it as if he had to think it over. John didn't have the impulse control not to take the bet. He smirked as John threatened him back in reply. "All your talk is empty. You'd rather ditch her than help her. If I do something, even if you find out, you'd drop her for being weak and the victim. You don't do the whole savoir thing; you do the whole running off and leaving the other stranded thing. Teagan won't know what hit her after I get to her and then you drop her without looking back. Your threats are a hell of a lot more empty than mine are."
He smirked arrogantly. "Oh I knew you would! So what's the terms? What do I get when I win? How we are going to set this up? Are you going to be there, watching or do you trust her enough not to? I'd watch, myself, but hey, that's just me."
