Daphne actually frowned. "If what means anything? Sex? Dating? Men in general? I find that no, men generally don't mean a damned thing. They are only good for one thing and even that means nothing once it's over." She shrugged. No strings was how she did things even if it wasn't how Astoria did. She didn't expect Astoria to be on the same page as her. Most people wouldn't and Daphne had accepted that ages ago. She suppressed more laughter, not wanting to be too insulting today. Astoria had been through a lot. She reached up, tapping her finger on her bottom lip mocking in thought. "As hard as I try, no, I really can't,' she said with a smirk. She raised her eyebrows in interest at Astoria avoiding her eyes now. It was interesting, but she didn't care either. She kept telling herself Astoria would tell her if something else was going on. "Well, I promise I won't flirt with him. Not saying the same for the other girls," she said with a smirk. "And I definitely, definitely won't fuck him. I don't like sloppy seconds especially ones that I'd rather hex than actually fuck. Who wants him to enjoy himself? I'd rather give him pain than pleasure."
She smirked and nodded. To her, it was a perfect combination. Well, she could think of a few things that combined might be better, but she didn't think Astoria would want to hear them. She grinned with satisfaction. "I got the great, all-knowing Astoria Greengrass to admit that I was right! She was wrong. I think I might die of delight!" She poured the rest of the tequila from her glass down her throat, made a face at the burn, and slammed the glass on the counter in front of her. "I think you're feeling better, aren't you? I'm a decent older sister now and then. Maybe. I have my days..." She grinned as she grabbed the bottle to pour herself more.
