Daphne snorted. Of course, Astoria knew. Astoria was a smart woman who had figure out what stupidity was when it was glaring her in the face like with this woman's actions had indicated. Maybe she hadn't done it on purpose, but she'd still done it. Daphne wasn't going to be too kind or forgiving if and when she ran into the woman herself. No one messed with her family and got away with it. "Well, just because she enlightened you doesn't mean she's not a moron or you should be thankful toward her. She's not as guilty as the prick is, but she's guilty too. It's not like she's the scorned wife either. She's a lesbian so I doubt he's whispering sweet nothings in her ear too."
She scoffed. "Or the universal sign for 'I'm a prick'," she said with amusement. When Astoria just tossed by the glass, she raised her eyebrows in surprise. Maybe she was slightly impressed, but part of that feeling was quelled when Astoria gagged a little. She smirked and poured more tequila into the newly emptied glass. Only then did she sip at her own, looking at her sister. "Don't pass out trashed the floor. I have no idea how to explain why my little sister would be passed out on the floor of her book store. And you will not embarrass me. I'd leave your ass here before I cover for you. Prick or not prick to get even with."
