Astoria nodded in response to her question. She didn't like that Daphne referred to it as just a 'fuck' but that's what it was, wasn't it? She didn't mean anything to Cormac. He didn't give a damn about her. The sooner she got that through her thick skull the better off she'd be. Not understanding that clearly enough was what had gotten her into this whole mess in the first place.
"Yes," she said sharply. Her anger wasn't directed at Daphne. It was at Cormac for being a selfish prick. "I don't fuck married men. I don't fuck men with girlfriends. And I don't fuck men with fiancees." It wasn't like her to swear but she was angry. She didn't fuck unavailable men before, but apparently she did now. Cormac had always been the exception to something, hadn't he? She gripped her coffee cup tightly. Saying it out loud had brought all her anger and hurt to the surface. "But that's not all," Astoria added with a shake of her head and a harsh laugh. "That is not all."
