There was a small amount of comfort at hearing Astoria agree that her fears and misgivings made sense. Astoria came from that world, she had to know what was in store and what the pressure was.
She gave a slight snort at the other woman's assessment of the house elves being cute. Katie didn't like them at all her time at Hogwarts. They were creepy and she was quite happy with doing things herself. She knew that Cormac had an elf but on most days when she went to visit with him, she tried to avoid even noticing it. "I suppose you're one of the better judges on that but I still don't know. I'll think it over. At least there is time," she replied with a soft smile. She felt a little better talking about it.
When Astoria sighed, Katie looked over to her and frowned slightly. She hated to see the woman go. They were having a good talk. Or maybe not. Katie had been talking about herself an awful lot. That was rude. "Oh...well, it was nice to see you, Astoria. We should get together purposely sometime. You're fun to hang around."
