Astoria laughed. "So I've been told once or twice but those opinions were biased." She thought of Cormac telling her he wouldn't have her any other way. She really needed to stop thinking about him. "She'd probably love it," she assured Katie. It honestly sounded like she needed to see her mum and have some time at home.
She followed Katie's gaze to the ring and her eyes widened in surprised. She wouldn't have expected it. Astoria thought Katie was still young and frankly too focused on her work for marriage. She refrained from mentioning it, however, and instead focused on Katie's words for the moment. "I have," she said with a nod. She'd quit the Prophet, hadn't she? "I think everyone gets there at certain points," Astoria added cautiously.
