Teagan looked at him with surprise for a moment when he asked her and shook her. She laughed a little, surprised at her own self at that. Normally she wouldn't appreciation being shaken, even playfully and gently. John was different, though. She hadn't not say anything for his reaction or him to ask. In fact, she still didn't want to finish her sentence. She was naked with John after he'd just fucked her. The last thing she wanted was to think of Evan who had popped in her head when they'd agreed people sucked. Evan certainly did suck. "I don't want to think about that right now. He has no place here tonight," she said firmly, looking at him with a nod. She knew he'd know who she meant. And sure, Evan being brought up again was a bit of the start of things, but she refused to acknowledge it. This wasn't about Evan, Evan's game, Evan's agenda, or his little battle with John. Tonight was about her and John - at least to her it was.
She lifted her head again and looked at him. Leaning forward, she kissed him softly, affectionately. She knew she shouldn't. Affection had no place here tonight between them, but she didn't care. She'd never just think of John as just sex. She never had and it couldn't change now. Kissing him, she reached up and ran her hands lightly over his chest. When she pulled back, she smiled at him. "I am. So stop trying to do it for me, yeah? With... everything." Again, she didn't want to say his name, not right now. And she did feel like John kept trying to protect her when she didn't need to be with Evan. It didn't make much sense to her. He didn't try to protect all his friends, did he? So why her?
