Teagan just laughed at the image he painted, shaking her head with disbelief and amusement. She didn't know what to say. It's not like she could top that with her reply. She'd let him have his win.
She smiled. "Yeah, understanding your friends is normally a plus I've noticed," she said lightly. "Oh we can agree. And I can think-- Nevermind." She smiled and shrugged, shaking her head when she stopped saying what she said.
When he laughed and agreed to shut up, she felt like hitting him - playfully - but also of kissing him. She leaned down, brushing her lips over his and then laid back down on his chest again. "I am not your traumatized little victim. Just don't think or act like I am. Or this will never work. Never." She knew she'd told him to shut up and she doubted he's answer her, but it mattered to her. He had to realize that or she wasn't sure how she'd think of herself after.
