Teagan was a bit surprised at his reaction. Didn't he want her to go home? He'd just said that he didn't have any guests. "What you want?" she echoed, confused. "What I want? I don't want to go home. I want to curl up in bed and have you hold me, but I doubt I'll get what I want."
She blinked at him, surprised. She was offended, but not enough to actually get angry. Her attitude was instinctual, unfortunately. But she still didn't like the whole virgin part of what he said. "So you didn't get yours? Oh, God, John, please tell me you at least came!" She wasn't sure she should be focusing on that, but she was. She had wanted him to feel the way he'd made her feel at least. It would have made it worth it. If he hadn't, then why had she gone through that? "You don't know what I want, so stop acting like you do."
When he walked back to the bed, she stood there, staring at him. She wanted to follow him and lay beside him, but what was the odds that he would let her now? Or even before? So, she just stared, unsure and surprised. "If I do what I want, then you'll have to put up with me all night you know?" she asked softly.
