Teagan liked the feeling, the teasing, and how his hand felt warm and soft on the back of his neck. It was such an innocent gesture, she wondered if he even knew he was doing it fully. But she couldn't help herself when she looked up at him. She knew he wasn't trying to insult himself, but instead, she frowned. "You're normal, John," she said, sincerely. She didn't like to hear him even indirectly or inadvertently insult himself. "And I never said you were a happy memory," she added stubbornly, but there was still a smile on her face despite herself.
