Meaghan frowned. "Oh," she said then she shrugged and smirked. "Well, you've made great strides since then if that matters any?" She didn't know what else to say. She really wasn't that type to know what to say either or expect that complete and utter honesty from him. She respected the honesty, but it still wasn't really expected.
She smirked. "Contacts? Interesting," she said, finding herself strangely meaning it. Not that she'd tell him that it was anything but sarcastic. "Well see! You're not even dangerous on the full moon if you take that potion. I hear you all just curl up like big dogs, harmless and almost cute. But you know, not cute." She smirked, almost daring him to be offended now. "Yes, I'm a Quidditch... person. Hey, we're called players by the way. Quidditch players. Like football players, you know? Sports get played. Those who play them are called players."
She paused, then shrugged. Leaning forward, she kissed him on the cheek. It was quick and barely even there, but it counted. Pulling back she smirked and said, "There. Happy?"
She grinned at his laughter, proud that he'd gotten the really lame joke. "Don't you think I could?" she asked, nudging him. She knew that they had said nothing physical, but she didn't think a gentle nudge after she'd just kissed his cheek came anywhere near actually hitting him as she had before.
