Cormac paused for a moment, looking at her then shook his head. "Actually, every time. Every time," he said with a smile. "Though I do see that you're even arguing about this. I wonder if that says something." He was teasing, of course. Though he was sure that it did say something, but he didn't know what exactly. Or maybe it did? Did it mean that she simply couldn't help herself? He liked the idea, but then again, he wasn't sure that her having a problem with resisting when she had waited so long to sleep with him. "And you are just fine the way you are. I'd never want you to change. Any who said it was actually annoying?"
He laughed. "Now is it not nice? I mean, it's not exactly mean either," he said with a grin. "It's just sort of selfish, but like we already decided, I'm spoiled and bad at sharing." He laughed slightly, looking at her. "I respect you more for admitting that," he said admitted with a grin. "I really do." He wasn't sure he believed her exactly, but if she said she was, then she was. But he did believe that she was an adorable child. He could definitely believe that. "You certainly do have a thing for Falcy. Do you like Falcy more than you like me?" he teased, hoping that she didn't answer or made it obvious that he was kidding when she couldn't resist saying that she did like Falcy more. He smirked. "I am very manly. Very manly," he repeated himself in a suggestive tone. "Your exes might have convinced you they were romantic, but they were without a doubt stupid. Stupid for becoming your ex, that is." She seemed to relax again, but he wasn't sure what to make of the momentary lapse. Reaching up, he pushed some hair behind her ear, hoping she didn't back away from his touch again. It was more or less a test, but an enjoyable one. "I'm still not sure I believe you," he said, teasingly. "I don't believe your 'poor Cormac' for a moment. Not a single moment." He was relieved when she moved closer to him again and he closed the distance more himself. "I can't tell you. I must have live the mystery alive," he said with a smirk. "Would you like to tell me those volumes or at least just one?" he asked, interested.
Cormac liked how she tightened her arms around his neck. It was sweet. When they were settled and she kissed him, he smiled, deciding he'd made the right decision. He leaned his head back on the sofa, just enjoying the feeling. With the blanket, it was warmer, but he could have done with just Astoria's warmth. Closing his eyes, he tried to think of something more to say. It was comfortable and he was sure that he should continue the conversation. Without thinking, he said, "Have you made any plans yet? Find a job? Or something? I mean, anything new in your life even like a trip to Paris or something?" He was rambling and he had no idea why he was rambling.
