"I'm not sure you know what you're asking for, Cormac," she warned him playfully. Astoria didn't do any of the things she did with the intention of being mysterious but she could try. It would end up being more frustrating for him than it would for her. She was sure of it. He was obviously challenging her and she would not back down so easily. "You should quit while you're ahead," she suggested with a bright smile.
She didn't care about the zipper. In that moment she just wanted to see him and touch him. Astoria couldn't help the satisfied smile that crossed her face as he sucked in a breath. It felt good to know that she could still affect him even with a simple touch. She just wasn't ready for this thing between them, whatever, it was to be over yet. Especially not after knowing how good he actually was in bed. Nevertheless, his confused stare surprised her. Part of her had expected him to jump at the chance to get out while she'd given him the opportunity. But he took her hand instead. The relief that she felt at the contact was severely unwelcome. Still, she smiled, completely unable to help it as she followed his gestures and turned slowly. Astoria laughed at his words, finding the sound of her last name oddly strange coming from him. "Shouldn't I be the one telling you to make yourself comfortable? You know like a proper hostess, McLaggen." Her tone was playful, amused. Propriety had flown out the window a while ago. When Cormac led her towards the couch she followed, seeing no reason to resist. She sat down as they reached the couch and slipped off her shoes, deciding to heed his advice and make herself comfortable after all. It was her house and she had every right to. Mostly, she was curious about what it was that he planned to do next.
