He nodded with a smirk. It did make things better in his opinion. She'd used Falcy against him, hadn't she? Why wasn't it fair for him to use Falcy against her? She'd even said that Falcy liked her better! Falcy did not like her better.
Laughing, he shook his head. "It's not cruel. It's just being a brilliant student. You should, as the master, be proud of me," he replied with a grin. "Be proud your student has surpassed you as you find ways to surpass them. Hell, this is could get even more interesting." He looked over at her, a challenge in his voice and eyes. He was challenging her to do better which was probably just being a glutton for punishment. Everytime she was all mysterious and elusive, it drove him crazy both in good and bad ways. It was sexy as hell, whether she knew it or not, and it was annoying at the same time. How could she be both sexy and annoying simultaneously?
Cormac knew she was enjoying this bit of teasing. So was he. He loved any excuse to touch her. It was probably shameful, especially now that he'd had sex with her, but it didn't matter. He hadn't done any of this just to have sex with her. Bedding her wasn't his ultimate goal. He had no idea what it was, but it wasn't that. If it was that, he would have tried harder sooner. When she moved away, turning around, he looked at her a bit curiously, wondering what she was doing. Her dress was still unzipped a little, making him tempted to both leave alone and reach behind her again and try to blindly finish zipping it again. Instead, he just looked at her, trying to read her expression. She was hard to read, this one. He found it frustrating and interesting all at once. He sucked in a breath quite shamefully when her hand traveled down his chest. He knew it was stupid and silly and he should have more control, but he didn't. When she dropped her hand and offered wine before she trailed off, he raised his eyebrows at her, a bit confused. Did she really just suggest that he leave? For a moment, he wasn't sure if he should be relieved or offended. He wasn't sure if he was relieved or offended. Without thinking it through, he reached out and grabbed her hand, putting it over both their heads and imploring her with his gestures to twirl around. "Might as well get comfortable, Greengrass, I'm staying for a bit," he said teasingly, trying to guide her to the couch without forcing her. If she told him to leave, he would since he wasn't one to hang around where he wasn't wanted. But he didn't want to on his own.
