Astoria grinned. "Yes, because that makes it so much better." She gave him a look that clearly said she did not believe him. The smirk wasn't a surprise but this time it just made her laugh.
"Uh huh. It's quite cruel of you,"Astoria said teasingly. She wasn't really offended. What he'd said didn't even matter to her. But she was happy and satisfied and a little teasing wouldn't be amiss. She pouted at him for good measure, all the while trying not to break out into a grin.
She smiled as she felt her zipper being undone, as his lips made contact with her skin. Maybe she should have been ashamed of the effect Cormac had on her, but instead she closed her eyes hummed her appreciation. "Much better," Astoria whispered back, enjoying his teasing. He certainly had a way with her. Reluctantly, she pulled back and turned around to face him. Her hand went to his chest, not really caring that she didn't have some excuse to touch him this time. Her fingertips trailed down slowly for a moment, her eyes following its movement, before she dropped it to her side and looked back up at him. "Would you like some wine or…" She trailed off and shrugged although her smile was still in place. He could leave if he wanted, of course. She'd never make him stick around. But a big part of her would be disappointed, even if she didn't want to admit it.
