Astoria smiled and nodded. "It could be. Although I'm not sure how successful you'd at distracting me," she teased. Very, successful probably. She doubted it would really take much where he was concerned. "I wouldn't mind wearing one of those dresses. In your favorite color," she suggested with a sly smile. And taking off said dress at the end of the night. "What is your favorite color?" she asked curiously, conveniently ignoring the fact that what they were talking about sounded entirely too much like an actual date. They didn't do those, after all.
The movement drew her eyes to his lips. Astoria sighed inaudibly. It was getting so very difficult to stay still. She didn't reply to his agreement and instead stared up at him. Words were getting more and more difficult to manage. She didn't really want to think anymore. She wanted him to pull her close and stop teasing her. "How can you be so sure?" Astoria managed to ask in a low voice. Her lips parted slightly and she let out a shaky breath as his thumb skimmed over her lip, their conversation now completely forgotten.
She couldn't help the smile when he cupped her cheek and finally, finally leaned towards her. Astoria sighed happily against his lips before adding slightly more pressure, showing him just how much permission he had. She would always respond, always meet him halfway. But Astoria wanted more. She wanted Cormac to want more and she wanted him to show her that he did. Her hand went up and clasped his shoulder. She had no reason to hold back. They were completely alone and this was what she wanted, what she had wanted for months now. He had a way of making her forget herself so easily. The feeling was addictive and when his hand went to the small of her back, Astoria pressed herself a little closer to him.
