"I would hope that if I'm in a relationship, the person I am with would not be selfish," Sam replied, returning the smile. "I mean if you're just having a fling of something, I suppose that would be different but I'm not really one for emotionless sex. Like I said, if I want to get off, I'll help myself." It was just a personal preference of his. He had pretty much confirmed it when Evan had tried to hook him up. Of course, that could have been just because Oliver had ruined him to other men.
He hadn't said it to put Oliver on her bad side. "I like to think that we were both wrong in our own special ways," he replied, not wanting to focus on how Oliver had kept his true identity from him. It was in the past, he had forgiven Oliver. "I like second chances. I was miserable when we were apart. Even if he's been a little reluctant to give into the emotions entirely, I am happy."
